Stu Cooke - Stu Cooke

After being born and raised in the South of England, Stu moved to Bermuda for his teenage years. This was to shape his future, first attending school in nearby Belleville, Canada before attending Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and pursuing a degree in Film Studies. Now working as a writer and marketer, Stu spends his hours diligently communicating message after message to their intended recipients.

Outside of his professional life, Stu enjoys a few different activities. Computer customization and gaming is a hobby, as is fictional writing and of course, reading. However, his deepest passion lies with physical activity, having spent the last seven years training in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. With a respect for Eastern Philosophy and the practicality of self-defense, Stu learns and teaches this Martial Art to students in Kingston, Ontario.

With an open mind and a tireless enjoyment of self-improvement, Stu relishes the opportunity to have thought placed to page at Suite101. The opportunity to build writing skills and reflect on the world is one he wishes he'd found earlier.
